Stuhr Museum Foundation Annual
Fund Drive Results

GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM – The Stuhr Museum Foundation is proud to announce they have raised $193,370 from 422 donors during this year’s 2008 Annual Fund Drive. The totals were announced on Thursday night during the Foundation’s Picnic Basket Fundraiser which was part of the Meadowlark Music Festival performance hosted by the museum.
After setting a goal of $180,000, the Annual Fund Drive is now 107 percent of goal. The drive benefited from a $15,000 challenge gift from CASE New Holland, which allowed the Foundation to “Build a CASE In History.” Beginning with the generous challenge gift and continuing campaign leaders and a hardy company of approximately 50 community volunteers the foundation was able to exceed goal for the fifth year in a row. The Foundation sincerely thanks the community who has supported Stuhr Museum during this drive.

The money raised from the Annual Fund Drive goes toward sustaining Stuhr Museum’s programs and events, and to allow the museum to develop and schedule new programming. The Leadership Team for this year’s drive included co-chairs Renee Goble and Densel Rasmussen, phone-a-thon chairs Anita Lewandowski Brown, Andy and Erin Marsh and staff giving chair Martha Paulsen.
