Sampson & Clyde on TV

GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - Stuhr Museum's resident buffalo, Samson, got his close up on KHAS-TV this week as the station's "A Day in the Heartland" feature explored the relationship between the buffalo and his pen-mate Clyde.

Since Samson came to spend his summers at Stuhr Museum, Clyde has been his companion to the delight and often bewilderment of folks who visit the museum. The story touches on calls the museum has received asking if there is a baby buffalo in the pen, when in fact, all they're seeing is a goat.

Samson lives at the museum through September. Make sure to come out and say "hi" to Samson and Clyde before the summer is over!
