GRAND ISLAND, STUHR MUSEUM - The were biting, the weather was hot and the stage was perfect for a day of late summer fishing at Stuhr Museum
Over 250 people attended the 4th annual "Sunday Afternoon With Tom and Huck" fishing event where the museum brings an afternoon straight out of a Mark Twain novel to life. There was watermelon seed spitting, "white washing" a fence, wooden boat races and fishing galore.
Check back soon for information on next year's event, scheduled for August 21, 2011. In the meantime, here are some photos from this year's event.
