1890s Memorial Day Observation

Stuhr Museum will be open 9 am – 5 pm on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29. We’ll have two special historic programs during the day to honor those who have sacrificed their lives for our country:
•11:30 am: A procession will form in Railroad Town and move to the cemetery by the rural church for a historic memorial program.
•2:00 pm: 1890s Public Memorial Exercises at the Band Stand in Railroad Town. This program will feature music by the Silver Cornet Band and speeches by Railroad Town’s dignitaries.
