North Pole Express
November 27, 2021

Stuhr Museum’s beloved “North Pole Express” program returns in 2021 to provide a unique and immersive holiday experience for children ages 4 and up that they’ll cherish for years to come!
This program is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes that begins by boarding an authentic rail car, reenacting the story of “The Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg, building their very own wooden train car, and other seasonal activities and surprises. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite PJs as they embark on this memorable holiday adventure.
This program is appropriate for children ages 4 & up. Parents are welcome to drop off the kiddos and go run some errands or visit the Stuhr Building for a cup of coffee or cocoa and take in the Fantasy of Trees. Younger children may keep one (1) adult with them if preferred. We strive to accommodate the most children safely in the space available, therefore space for adults is limited. We will do our best to adhere to social distancing recommendations, however, masks are also recommended for those who wish to wear them.
The cost for this program is $30 for members and $40 for non-members. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4th. Spots fill quickly and pre-registration is required. Registration will be online only this year, however, if you need assistance, please call us at (308) 385-5316.
3 sessions are available each day: 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m.
