What combines all of these things and more? The First Wave of Spiritualism! Noted scientist Alfred R. Wallace stated in his book Miracles and Modern Spiritualism that “there is enough proof to sustain spiritualism as there is to support any other science.” In The Science of the Séance event happening at Stuhr Museum, our team will put this statement by Wallace to the test. Join us on October 20 or 21 as we lead our guests through an immersive, three-part educational experience on the topic of spiritualism. During this evening of entertainment, guests will gain insights into the history of spiritualism in America, watch a *scripted performance of a late 19th century-inspired séance, and have the secrets of these famous performances unmasked for all eyes to see. This event is respectfully an 18 years of age or over event.
