Thanksgiving – A Look at the History and 19th Century Foods Associated with the Day

November 13, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Living Historians in Railroad Town will take a look at the history associated with the origins and myths surrounding Thanksgiving, including when and why it became an official holiday. They will also explore the foods that have been associated with Thanksgiving through time… Spoiler Alert – It may not always be what you think! As with all of our foodways programming in Railroad Town, we will not be able to give out samples, but we will be able to point those interested in the direction of some tasty recipes!

Daily admission fees apply.
