FULLThe Fourth of July is around the corner, and we want to celebrate early with some party prep! Enjoy doing STEAM activities, including red, white, and blue test tube eruptions, food coloring fireworks in a jar, and make and take home a Fourth of July pinwheel! BEGINNING NEEDLE FELTING • AGES 10+ • 3 DAYSJUNE 26-28 • 9-11 A.M.Did you know you can paint with wool? In this class, students will learn techniques and tricks to do just that! Students will be guided through the creation of projects, beginning with a picture. KUMIHIMO BRACELET MAKING • AGES 8-12 • 3 DAYSJULY 5-7 • 1-3 P.M. FULLKumihimo is a form of braiding from ancient Japan that is popular today for making jewelry using thread, cords, and even beads. We will create two or more bracelets with different braid patterns using easily-obtained fibers to get you started and show examples of more complicated patterns to tempt you to keep learning and creating!
