Come take a closer look at Stuhr Museum’s Lombard-Leschinsky Collection! We will examine the technology behind glass plate photography, learn some tricks of the trade used by photographers, discover the challenges of cleaning and digitally scanning the plates, and view some interesting photographs. All are welcome, however, the program will be geared toward an adult audience and may not be as engaging for younger visitors.
Due to limited space in the library and archives, this program is limited to the first 15 registrants. This program is included free with regular daily admission, however tickets must be reserved in advance. Members can reserve tickets at no cost; non-members will need to pay daily admission ($14) using the link below, which includes a ticket for the program. Because of the limited number of tickets, we ask that if you claim tickets and are unable to attend that you contact us at info@stuhrmuseum.org or call (308) 385-5316 to cancel so we can add your tickets back into inventory for someone else to enjoy!
