Volunteer
AT Stuhr

You can never have enough friends!

Volunteers at Stuhr Museum are treated like needed friends. We have so many fun and interesting projects that there is simply too much work to be done with the resources that we have. That’s why we need your help!

Currently, we have volunteer opportunities in:

  • Docent Tours (Do you have a passion for history and the gift of gab? If so, we need you! Join our team of volunteer docents who tell the story of town building to school groups and adult tours. No experience necessary, training is provided).
  • Visitor Services
  • Clerical and Data Entry
  • Research
  • Artifact Processing
  • Gardening & Grounds
  • Historical Interpretation
  • Restoration
  • Docents and Tour Guides
  • Living History Apprentices Program
  • Stuhr’s Silver Cornet Band
  • Special Events and Projects
