The mission of the Stuhr Museum Foundation is to raise unrestricted funds, special project funds, and endowment funds to benefit the living history, education and preservation programs of the Stuhr Museum.

Stuhr Museum houses over 140,000 2D and 3D objects in our collection. With over 200 acres of property and over 100 structures on the museum grounds, Stuhr Museum exhibits numerous artifacts at any one time.
Stuhr Museum Foundation helps to remove all barriers to participation by ensuring transportation, a meal, and tuition to every student participating in the Summer Adventures Scholarship Program.
The Leschinsky Glassplate Negative Collection Digitization Project will provide the public greater access to this historical and comprehensive collection.
The bison enclosure is undergoing an expansion, providing guests with an even better view and experience while still maintaining a safe and healthy distance for the bison.
