Nate Eidem will present a public lecture at Stuhr Museum on the physical and social dimensions of the Platte River to demonstrate how art, science, and history can help bring awareness to critical issues surrounding our precious river basins. His presentation will highlight the interplay between the historic influence of the river on society and the modern role of society in recreating the natural hydrology of the Platte to benefit natural processes altered by engineering.
This program will be held in the Leo B. Stuhr Building on Saturday, October 5 from 2-4 pm and is included free with regular daily admission. For any questions, please contact us at (308) 385-5316 or e-mail info@stuhrmuseum.org.
