Create your own, one-of-a-kind Christmas wreath to deck your door with this holiday season! The workshop will be led by experienced wreath-maker and museum historian, Kay Cynova, who will give a demonstration on wreath-making and then assist participants as needed while they work on their own wreaths. We’ll supply the wreath form, greenery cut fresh from the Stuhr Museum grounds, and wire, however, we ask that you bring your own gloves and any decorative elements (i.e. ribbon, bows, floral picks, etc.) that you wish to include in your wreath. Please bring your own wire cutters or branch clippers if you have them, as we only have a few to share between all the participants.
The wreath-making workshop will be held on Saturday, November 23 from 1-3 pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance: $30 for Stuhr Museum members and $40 for non-members. When you arrive for the workshop, please check-in at the Gate House, where we will give you directions to the workshop location. For any questions, please call (308) 385-5316 or e-mail info@stuhrmuseum.org.
