Deck the halls of the iconic Leo B. Stuhr Building by participating in Stuhr Museum’s annual Fantasy of Trees display! This beloved holiday tradition brings local businesses, organizations, groups, and individuals together to share their creativity and celebrate the season with museum visitors.
How to ParticipateRegister your tree by November 13. Registration can be completed online below or by contacting Stuhr Museum at (308) 385-5316 ext. 208. A $5 entry fee is charged for each tree to fund the cash awards given.
Set up and decorate your tree between November 17 – 25.
Visit the Fantasy of Trees display between November 27 – December 20 to vote for your favorite tree to win the People’s Choice Award.
Pick up your tree at the end of the season between January 5 – 10.

All decorating must be complete by noon on Wednesday, November 25. Trees will be judged that afternoon.
January 5–10
10 am – 4 pm
All trees must be removed by 4 pm on Saturday, January 10.
All participating trees will be eligible for awards. A panel of judges will select winners in the following categories:
Each category winner will receive a $25 cash award.
Visitors to the Fantasy of Trees exhibit will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite tree for the People’s Choice Award. Voting will be open through Sunday, December 20, and the winner will be announced on Stuhr Museum’s social media channels. The People’s Choice winner will receive a $100 cash award.
As a thank you for participating in Fantasy of Trees, members of each participating organization will receive BOGO admission coupons to enjoy the display throughout the holiday season. Coupons may be picked up when you set up your tree.
Buy one, get one free admission coupons are valid from 10 am – 4 pm from November 27, 2026 – January 3, 2027. BOGO coupons are not valid for special events or separetly ticketed programs.
