From behind-the-scenes access to guided explorations of historic environments, Stuhr Unlocked Tours bring you closer to the past. With small groups and select times, they provide a rare opportunity to discover what most guests never see.
Tickets for paid tours may be purchased in advance or on the day of your visit, subject to availability. Tours are appropriate for all ages, however, children must be accompanied by an adult.

This complimentary tour is offered daily at 10:00 AM and is included with admission.
Step behind the scenes and into the Collections Building, where the museum’s artifacts are carefully documented, preserved, and protected. Learn how staff care for and manage the collection, and discover the work that ensures these objects remain available for future generations to explore and enjoy.

Get hands-on with history through Stuhr Unlocked Maker Experiences! Available throughout the day, these flexible experiences let individuals and families create and take home a one-of-a-kind souvenir.
Tickets can be purchased in the Mercantile and redeemed for projects available that day. Maker Experiences are around $8 per project. Choose from a variety of hands-on projects — create with tin, leather, wood, and more. Project offerings vary daily.
